I can improve on the definition for 'CNC Router Bits': A router is a device that rotates a metal bit at an accelerated rate to produce finished edges and shapes, or to carve and engrave. Routers can be used on a variety of materials from fiberglass and Kevlar to wood. CNC (computer numerical control) routers use a computer program to control the spinning bit when extreme accuracy and/or repetition are necessary. CNC router bits are specifically machined metal fittings that fit into the CNC router and are used to do the work that is described above.
