Speciality Metals has been converting Tungsten Carbide scrap, sourced locally in South Africa, manufacturing hard facing materials for the construction, oilfield drilling, mining, agricultural and other application where abrasive wear causes premature failure of ground engaged plant and equipment. We have built up a reputation as being a supplier of premium quality product. We undertake continual alloy development and support for our customers with research and development.
Our growth will come from maintaining this approach. Our competitors are generally raw material suppliers, whereas Speciality Metals provides wear solutions. We have 17 years experience in powder metallurgy and hard metals which has allowed us to develop relations with both competitors and customers alike. Our future lies in focusing on quality, customer’s needs and development of new products and process’s utilizing our raw material.
