Inverter Fusion Shines with Fusion Clean

Product News Monday, February 18, 2013: Inverter Fusion Ltd

Inverter Fusion Ltd have announced the launch of their new Fusion Clean electrolytic stainless steel weld cleaning and polishing machine which was designed and developed, and is now being manufactured, at their factory in Devon.

Inverter Fusion have been designing and manufacturing reliable, technologically advanced inverter welding machines since the 1990s and, over that time, have gained a vast amount of knowledge and experience in the market. They have now developed this latest product offering in response to requests and feedback from their customers.

Graham Hill, Technical and Product Development Manager commented, “Electrolytic cleaning technology is a safer, more environmentally friendly and much quicker alternative for the cleaning of weld discolouration on stainless steel and other metals – the results are instantaneous and the fluids used do not carry the same safety and environmental hazards as pickling paste which is traditionally used. Our Fusion Clean machine avoids the use of harsh toxic chemicals with their attendant storage, handling and disposal problems and also saves time and therefore money. It is ideal for use in the manufacture and maintenance of all types of stainless steel products and machinery such as those used in the food processing and pharmaceutical industries.”

The Fusion Clean machine, which is available in both 240v and 110v models, works on both MIG and TIG welds, is lightweight and portable and is operator friendly with 4 settings and clear, high density LED displays to indicate which function is in use. It is housed in Inverter Fusion’s distinctive, sturdy toughened nylon case for protection and control guards on the front panel protect the switches from accidental knocks. The electronic components are all specified to a very high level and a fan for cooling enables it to achieve 100% duty cycles. Fusion Clean machines are covered by a comprehensive 2 year parts and labour warranty and back up and support are provided by Inverter Fusion’s expert engineers who designed and developed the product.

The Fusion Clean comes ready to use complete with an earth lead, a brush with carbon fibre bristles and a toughened nylon handle, a replacement brush head, 1 litre of cleaning fluid and 1 litre of polishing fluid and is now available through Inverter Fusion’s nationwide network of distributors. Replacement brush heads and handles and fluids are available as consumables.
