The OPTIWAVE 1010 is a ready-for-use level solution ,welded to a bypass chamber and pre-configured in the factory. When equipped with a float and an IP68-rated indication,it becomes a Magnetic level indicator (BM26 Advanced) with 4.....20mA + HART signal. Limit switches can be added to the device in this configuration.
The new Radar measures liquids at temperature ranging from -40 to +1500C and pressures from vacuum to 40 bar gauge. For higher and temperatures we recommend the B26 W/F . A dual processseal system (Metaglas or Metapeek seal) permits the removal of the converter under process conditions. When equipped with a float ,the device is unaffected by low dielectrics.
The OPTIWAVE 1010 is a cost -effective solution for vatious industries e.g. chemical,power,water & waste water, as well as for the automotive and O.E.M markets. It has a higher accuracy than reed chain transmitters and measuring length has no impact on he price ,unlike magnetostrictive sensos ad TDR transmitters used with bypass chambers or Magnetic level indicators (MLI).
