Company Description

History

Process Automation (Pty) Ltd was founded in 1980 by four partners viz; JG Barnard, ML Nykamp, DJ Fourie & J Tongs. Total staff compliment was initially 5 people.

Initially servicing the Southern African market, Process Automation has since expanded its operations into continental Africa, Australia, Greece and South America with tens of thousands of installations operating sucessfully throughout the world.

In 2012 Process Automation employs in excess of 200 people located in our Headquarters & Factory situated in Randburg, South Africa and 5 strategically situated branch offices in South Africa.

Our associated company in Brazil (Process Automation do Brasil) serves the South American continent.

Born & Bred in the Industry

Process Automation is a by-product of the massive South African Mining Industry, which was served from conception, and grew into a leading mass measurement instrumentation manufacturing company. The exceptional and immediate local success of Process Automation caught the attention of foreign mining industries which lead to the rapid expansion of Process Automation into world markets.

Process Automation has SABS accredited manufacturing facilities with a total floor space of approximately 5 800m2 situated in Randburg, South Africa.

Locally, we have five strategically situated offices providing both Field Service and Sales support. These are located in Randburg (Gauteng), Middelburg (Mpumalanga), Richards Bay (Kwa-Zulu Natal), Kimberley (Northern Cape), Rustenburg (Northern West) and Cape Town (Western Cape).

Internationally, we have a branch in Brazil (South America) with manufacturing facilities and field service department. Agents operate in Angola, China, Europe, Greece, Chile, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Peru and Australia.
